The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Group

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing angels, demons, and dark forces increasing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

The latest chapter ended with a dramatic pause and introduced the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their separate journey, distinct from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

Considering 13 cast members, it was evident from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Overture, weaving together the individual narratives before dividing into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Schemers, and Questers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the warrior group is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—manipulated the enemy for his selfish purposes, invading the secret base, attacking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to sell off.

The traitor then cleared his obligations and fled to a secure base in the remote area, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Personal Motivations

Additionally, each character has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and advises that it is a nasty location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having resisted his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead rescued him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as key figures in the influential clan could help the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, Teor vowed a life debt to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him anywhere.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The healer betrayed the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

Future Episodes

Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers groups.

Fans can expect finding out which players will be assigned to which table in the story’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
